The funsters win it for Labor

A contrast of styles on the television last night.
On the ABC's The 7.30 Report Tony Abbott was floundering around showing his lack of knowledge of what broadband is all about. Over on The 7pm Project on Channel Ten Julia Gillard was blunting the shock-horror-probe-bid of the shock jock Steve Price.
I know which program will have had the most impact on voters. Getting to those who like their politics accompanied by a bit of light heartedness will beat a serious interview any day.

The Prime Minister is clearly in good spirits as she laughed and giggled her way throughout the day. She did everything but sing "School days, School days, Good old golden rule days."
Tony Abbott played the education picture game too at the old school of his wife and daughters. A good performance with some nice self deprecating humour but not enough for him to emerge as our daily winner.
Labor is clearly making a comeback.
